hope

hope. a short, seemingly insignificant word. i am filled with it tonight. i just attended my first obama party and it was brilliant. such a diverse group. so much intelligent talk to go around. people i had just met opening up about their lives to every one else. it was uplifting, and inspiring. i felt like i belonged to this random group assembled in a stranger's house. that is my america. an america filled with people from all walks of life at various stages of life uniting for the purpose of making this world a better place to live in. i am going to do everything i can to ensure that come january barack obama is sworn in as our next president. here's for hope.
